Seasonal Help at Awning and shade cloth shop for a Couple or Individual - Donna, TX

Great for rvers. Help wanted Nov-March for seasonal retail shop, custom shadecloth and rv awning repair shop located in Donna, Tx.

This shop is located at the Don-Wes flea Mkt and is open to the public from mid October until early April. The Don-Wes flea market is a busy market that caters to the retiree crowd that flock to the area during the winter months. The Shade Shoppe has been operating out of a booth at the Don-Wes Flea Mkt for over 16 yrs. We have an excellent reputation with our customers for quality service and products. We are open to the public on Wed, Sat, and Sun during the season where we work closely with our customers to get them a finished product they are happy with. The other 3-4 days of the week we sew the custom shadecloth orders, install, and do rv awning work. We are looking for help for all the above stuff.

Some customer service help on mkt days and help with installations so experience using basic tools and reading a tape measure come in very handy must be able to handle being outdoors and be on your feet all day . We will be setting up shop next week and expect to be open on the 14th. Business is slow in Oct. Steady in Nov and early december. Can slow down over the holidays and once we hit January we are very busy through March. Hours per week will vary depending on weather and time of year. Guarantee 15 hrs at minimum up to 40 hrs+ after first of year. Hourly compensation. We do not provide an rv site. However the flea mkt (donwesfleamkt.net) where our shop is has rv sites. And there are multiple other retiree rv parks within a 10 mile radius.

The couple who worked with us the last 3 years are not available this year. She would work Mkt days and sometimes help out at the shop on off mkt days and he would go out on jobs with my husband the other 3-4 days. Hrs could be split between you as couple or could be worked by just one person. We are flexible on a start date. Mid Oct to early Dec. Earlier is better for training before the real busy time. If more than just working for the season appeals to someone this business is also for sale to the right person. Would make a great little business for a couple or family.
