WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
Chief Aripeka RV park, Spring Hill, FL is looking for a retired couple to work long-term at this small, quiet, privately owned 50-plus, adult-only site. Our park has the best of both worlds; on Florida’s Nature Coast, the area is quiet, picturesque and only ¾ mile from the Gulf of Mexico, yet sits only 1 mile to US 19 where there are many food and shopping opportunities. Beaches, boating, fishing, birding, hiking and bicycling are nearby. Our park is basic, but well kept. There are 28 sites (no tents), with permanent, seasonal, and short-term options. A single restroom is available for each of the sexes and campers can gather on a covered porch with chairs and a swing. The park owner lives onsite.
Successful applicants should ENJOY interacting with other RVers. They must be responsible, courteous, professional, good communicators and seeking a long-term position. No drugs or heavy drinkers. Hosts must live on-site in their own RV. They will be trained by the owner and will work both with the owner and independently to manage and maintain the park. Work responsibilities include greeting and assisting guests, enforcing park rules, keeping the porch and two restrooms spotless, overseeing lawn care, and performing light general maintenance (basic electrical and plumbing skills are a plus). The physical work schedule is flexible, and varies by the season, averaging approximately 15 hrs per week combined. However, at least one host will need to be present as needed to greet guests and oversee the park. Time off is flexible but must be coordinated with owner.
Compensation includes free site, free electricity and propane up to an agreed-upon limit, and free Wi-Fi.
