We are hiring a dynamic spouse/partner duo for our RV Resort!
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician & Front Desk / Retail Associate.
This Team would live onsite & a be full time, year round Team!
MAINTENANCE TECH
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean sites, windows, BBQ grills, pedestals, building exteriors, etc.
Paint building exteriors and interiors, signage, road markings, etc.
Perform basic carpentry to repair issues in units (molding, drywall repair, etc)
Perform property services including propane fill station and dump station
Identifying and fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
Maintain property HVAC equipment to keep climate control functioning properly
Ability to trouble shoot & fix plumbing & electrical
Security patrol & lockup
Trash pickup
Participates in the emergency response for all facility issues
Proactively identifies and champions necessary projects to ensure property upkeep
Communicate concerns of the RV Resort with Resort Manager and Facilities Manager
Grounds keeping, snow removal, seasonal landscaping duties as needed
Ensure that all work has been completed in a safe, prompt, and professional manner
Guest services quiet hour and rule enforcement
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
1 to 2 years of facilities/maintenance/engineering experience
EPA Certification (preferred)
Dependable, punctual, impeccable attendance record
Accurate, attention to detail, problem solving skills, service oriented
Positive attitude, strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills
Excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills to interact with other employees and guests on the property
Ability to work outdoors during a variety of weather environments
Must be able to work on feet for extended periods, able to walk on inclines/declines & uneven ground
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
FRONT DESK/RETAIL ASSOCIATE
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
You are the welcoming face & host/hostess!
We're looking for someone with a naturally warm disposition, who loves to serve others & create positive memorable experiences!
Make guest reservations, accept & process payments, supervise the retail store, be the hub of the Team and a touch point for guests.
Receive customers and assist them with the selection of merchandise
Greet, interact and monitor customers to assist the store in loss prevention and upsell customers on extra items
Daily restocking and filling in of all items in the store to maintain pristine appearance
Strategically display and organize products in store for customers to locate easily and facilitate impulse purchasing
Help customers in billing and payment processes at the stores counter
Communicate information about product availability, product sourcing, wine/beer pairing, nutritional information and ingredients
Guide office staff towards maximum performance
Prepare and control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency
Monitor stock levels purchasing regularly and when necessary
Maintain up-to-date accurate inventory of all items in the store
Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation
Plan and execute in-store promotional events or displays
Create incentive sales to move inventory when needed
Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
Ensure the store fulfils all legal health and safety guidelines
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
1-2 years hotel/restaurant or similar customer service experience
Dependable, punctual, impeccable attendance record
Accurate, attention to detail, service oriented
Strong organizational skills
Positive attitude, strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills
Excellent math aptitude and cash handling ability
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Professional demeanor
Proficient computer skills, including: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Must be able to work on feet for extended periods
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
