Resort Caretaker Required West Coast Barkley Sound
We require a couple or single person with their own boat accommodation to be responsible for the overseeing of the closed remote wilderness resort. The position commences on the 7thSeptember 2013 and finishes on the 30thMay 2014.
The caretaker will have the opportunity to live in a beautiful location with basic satellite communication for phone and internet. They will also be able to use the Resort Water Taxi once each fortnight to resupply in Port Alberni and the staff boat for local transport. A monthly salary is paid with a diesel allowance. You will also have free moorage for your boat.
Understanding basis maintenance and having a strong boating background is a requirement of this position. Those applicants with SVOP and MED-A3 are preferred. A previous history of caretaker will be looked upon favourably and good references are required. Please send resume with references and cover letter.
