RESIDENT MANAGERS NEEDED FOR RIVERFRONT MOTEL IN CHIMNEY ROCK, N.C.

We are seeking a motivated and energetic couple to manage and maintain a small, established motel and cabin rental business in beautiful Chimney Rock, NC.  (We are located 30 minutes from Asheville, 30 minutes from Hendersonville and 2 hours from Charlotte, NC)

Position Requires:

Excellent people skills and telephone etiquette

Oversight and management of all aspects of the motel and rental business

Ability to sell rooms and process guest reservations (training provided)

Hiring and supervising housekeepers

Creativity and ability to market the business

Ability to use a computer

Recordkeeping skills

One person must be able to perform general maintenance and grounds keeping

Requires living on site in a 2 BR apartment ,  no dogs are permitted.

Compensation:

2 Bedroom Apartment with utilities

Property is on the river in a serene setting with view of Hickory Nut Waterfall.

Salary is based on room sales

**Previous hotel experience and maintenance/ handyman skills a plus
