Resident Innkeeper/Manager - Chester, WV

New Historical Inn Seeking an Experienced Resident Innkeeper/Manager. In the summer/fall of 2014, an historic home in Chester, WV, will open as Rock Springs Inn.  Chester is a vibrant community located on the banks of the scenic Ohio River.  The owners are seeking an energetic, friendly individual, or couple, to provide outstanding guest experiences.  The position is a full time, year-round, and salaried position. 

Qualified candidate (s) should possess: integrity, excellent written and verbal communication skills and supervisory level experience. The candidate (s) should be organized, computer literate, and able to multitask. Experience in hospitality and/or guest service is a must.

The innkeeper duties include, but are not limited to: overall operations of the Inn, supervising staff, reservations, guest check-ins, food preparation, some housekeeping, office work, financial reports to management and concierge services, interaction with guests and superb attention to their needs.

An apartment within the Inn and resources of the near-by Orchards of Foxcrest, such has housekeeping, lawn care, food services and marketing will be available to support the Inn and innkeeper.
