WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
Seeking a couple to become Resident Managers for a 800+ Self Storage and RV/Boat locally family owned self storage facility. Be team members in assisting to maintain and manage all areas of the storage facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Manage the rental office four(4) days a week from
Process payments (cash, checks, credit cards)
Answer phone and process emails for inquires and payments
Assist walk-in individuals with inquires and payments
Complete rental agreements
Enter new agreements or tenant updates in computer
Process daily mail
Keep common office areas clean and organized
Compile daily end of day deposit and report
Other office duties as requested (such as possible bank run)
Daily red lock management for tenants paying late (on days working office)
A minimum of once a day visual inspection of lot and all unit doors/locks
Conduct general light maintenance of storage facility as needed
Lawn mowing and snow removal in cooperation with other co-workers
Light duty including cleaning out abandon units, some lifting
Limited ladder work with alarms and lights
Vacate units as tenants move out - sweeping, spraying and trash outs as needed
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILIES
Not Applicable - part of a group that self manages and reports to business owner
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to use a computer or the openness to learn the office systems
(Training will be provided on our software)
Valid Driver's License (ability to drive company vehicles for snow or other duties)
Basic math skills and cash management
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
None required - ability to learn and to communicate with Tenants, co-workers and vendors.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to interpret and work from oral and written notes while dealing with a variety of clients/tenants, vendors, and co-workers,
All buildings and company vehicles are non-smoking areas (including managers' apartments)
WAGES, CONPENSATION, and BENFITS
Wages will be discussed with and set by the business owner.
(base of 52 office hours + a few additional hours for projects as coordinated with co-workers)
(also additional hours that occur for mowing lawn or snow removal)
Additional compensation provided include:
Monthly bonus based on meeting monthly goals in collected revenue
Housing (private 2 bedroom apartment with appliances provided)
(non-smoking building and prefer no pets)
Utilities provided include gas, electric, water, and wireless internet thru office systems
(not provided= personal phone and TV/Cable service)
