Our lodge is located in the heart of Marble, Colorado, a small and historic mountain town rich in both natural beauty and cultural heritage. Long before it became known for its famous marble quarry, the area was a seasonal home to the Ute people, who spent summers in the valleys, hunting, fishing, and gathering resources before migrating to lower elevations for the winter. The land’s abundant wildlife, fresh water, and natural shelter made it an ideal place for the Ute to live in harmony with the rugged mountain environment.

In the late 1800s and early 1900s, Marble became a bustling mining and quarry town, producing the high-quality white marble used in landmarks like the Lincoln Memorial and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. While the town’s industry faded over time, its rich history remains woven into the landscape, with remnants of the past found in both its historic quarry and the Crystal Mill, one of Colorado’s most iconic landmarks.

Today, Marble is a quiet mountain retreat, offering visitors a chance to step back in time while enjoying the breathtaking scenery of the Elk Mountains and Crystal River Valley. With its pristine alpine lakes, dense forests, and remote wilderness, the area is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, history lovers, and those seeking a peaceful escape into nature.

Now Hiring for Individuals To Cover Three Main Needs, Seasonal or Year-Round

Guest Services – Be the friendly face of our lodge! Responsibilities include greeting guests, handling check-ins/check-outs, answering questions, assisting with reservations, cleaning, groundskeeping, and administrative assistance. Strong customer service skills are needed.  

Housekeeping – Keep our cabins and lodge clean, cozy, and welcoming for guests. Tasks include cleaning rooms, making beds, laundry, groundskeeping, and general upkeep. Attention to detail and efficiency are a must.

Maintenance – Help keep our lodge and cabins in top shape. Duties include basic repairs, landscaping, general upkeep, and improvement projects. Ideal for someone handy and proactive.
