Located in the beautiful Black Hills region of South Dakota, this area draws more than 3 million tourists per year. The Details:
Wage: $12.45 per hour
Seasonal positions start immediately and extend until October 30th, 2023!
Receive a $300 Travel Stipend!
Must start between Aug 1-Sept 15, work a minimum of 60 days, and work an average of 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
- Collect bins for recycling of paper, cardboard, plastic, compost, metal, batteries, glass, and other materials.
- Transport recyclable materials to other locations using tubs, carts, and pickup trucks.
- Sort waste materials into proper waste streams when necessary.
- Collect, transport, and clean compost buckets.
- Operate two hydroponic growing systems.
- Plant, water, weed, harvest, and otherwise maintain a 2,000 sq. ft. vegetable garden.
- Weigh and keep accurate records of recycled materials and garden produce.
- Serve as a champion for recycling, composting, and waste reduction with other employees.
- Assist the Sustainability Manager with various educational and training programs for staff and guests on recycling and sustainability habits.
- Perform environmental inspections of every department monthly.
- Assist the Maintenance Department as requested by the Maintenance Manager:
- Trash collection, mowing, organizing a storage building, or sanitizing surfaces.
- Assist the Food & Beverage Department as requested by the Food and Beverage Manager:
- Bus tables and collect waste in the dining room.
- Assist the Parking Department as requested by the Parking Facility Manager:
- Empty recycling and trash containers and pick up litter in the parking facility.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
