Ranch/Stable Managers - Flagstaff, AZ
MCS Stables is a family owned horse boarding facility. We are looking for a married working couple (preferably non smokers) for a full time on-site manager position. The stables experiences all four seasons at 7,300' elevation and averages 30 horses year-round, with up to 75 during summer months, and the space for 40 overnight equine motel guests.
Managers will be responsible for all aspects of daily operations and need experience caring for and handling horses, general mechanical maintenance skills, all around quality handyman (minor carpentry, plumbing, welding, electrical), excellent customer service skills, service-minded and positive attitude, no drama, and confident office management skills including basic bookkeeping and employee supervision capabilities.
On-site one bedroom apartment will be provided with fully paid utilities in addition to negotiated pay/compensation. Existing managers are currenly still in place and will be retiring once they have had the opportunity to train the new managers in order to help facilitate a truly seamless transition for our boarders and their horses.
