Ranch Manager/Caretaker - Couple to Manage Ranch - Melville, MT

Ranch Manager/Caretaker:  

Year round, Full-time opportunity on family-owned ranch just N of Big Timber.  Bison ranch looking for a hardworking, honest, hospitable married couple to manage operations.  Live on premises in brand new, two bedroom house. Salary based on experience.

Duties will include:
Full care of Bison herd, including record maintenance, working with and shipping, handling sales
Care for/train 14 horses

Care for poultry, orchard, & greenhouse

Irrigate, cut, & bale hay
Train and supervise contract workers
Manage vendor relationships for supplies
Build, inspect, maintain and repair ranch structures (buildings, fences, roads, gates, etc.) and equipment as needed and as listed on preventive maintenance schedule
Operate, maintain, and repair farm equipment
Maintain operational and maintenance records
Competency with handy-man skills plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry
Heavy equipment operator a plus
Report to ranch owner on regular basis
