Ranch Manager Couple for Private Ranch - Cascade, MT

In search of a full time, energetic  Ranch Manager COUPLE to assist the V.P. of Ranch Operations at a high-end privately owned guest ranch in North Central Montana. The owners are several prominent businessmen who visit with their groups of 20-30 guests, each week from May through September. 

We have been fortunate enough to have excellent General Managers for the past 18 years and now we are looking for a couple to work under their leadership for the next several years as they learn the operations. 

One individual will oversee and manage all aspects of the daily operations at the main lodge. The job will include training and managing staff including housekeeping, kitchen staff and wranglers. This person must be well organized with computer skills including Excel and some bookkeeping knowledge. This position will work primarily indoors with staff and guests, so great communications sand people skills with a strong aptitude in hospitality will be a great asset!

The other individual must have a knowledge of a working cattle and horse ranch. A knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenace and repair, landscaping, maintenace of property and building repair and interacting with guests on scheduled trail rides and events. 

These are both demanding and fast paced jobs which require attentiveness, good communication skills and the desire to learn. Salary based upon experience. On-site housing and ranch vehicle provided for the Couple. 

The off-season months are spent taking care of livestock cattle and horses; as well as overseeing maintenace, repairs and upkeep to property and equipment.
