WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
We are looking for a couple that would like to live in one of the most desirable locations in the US. The ranch is located north of Scottsdale on twelve quiet acres in the country with thousands of acres of public land directly surrounding the ranch. The home provided is a two bed room, fully furnished with all utilities provided (except phone and internet).
It is very nice nearly new home, the furnishings (if necessary) are also very nice.
Right now (good possibility of more) there are three dressage horses and twelve acres to maintain. The horse responsibilities will take about three hours a day, we expect another two hours of maintenance, repair etc per day. This is a really good opportunity for the right couple to job split.
Priority assignments:
Feed three horses three times a day. Feed includes hay, grain, supplements, and medications as needed.
Clean stalls, runs, and turnouts daily.
Check stall waterers. Fill and/or clean as necessary.
Turnout all horses daily. Apply boots and fly spray as necessary.
Observe all horses daily for potential problems.
Blanket and remove blankets as needed.
Keep barn aisles clean and feed room
organized.
Rake in arena, reset rails.
Tack horses as necessary
Other barn activities as time allows or as
necessary:
Rake barn area.
Drag arena.
Maintaining general ranch infrastructure:
Landscaping - mowing, trimming, general maintenance, irrigation, and ground lights. Repair equipment as necessary.
Feed and care of small animals as owner requires.
General security of property.
General plumbing, electrical and welding projects.
Backhoe and tractor experience a plus.
You will need to be English speaking, and have a car with up to date insurance. No drunken parties, drugs or drama addicts will be tolerated.
An additional salary provided of four hundred dollars per month is provided at this point. There is a three month trial period.
We have had a lot of response from several sites and have even hired two sets of people. From our experience it is necessary to provide additional emphasis on a number of requirements.
You will need to be in shape, not like a twenty year old but if we at sixty can do the work you will need to be able as well.
We really do need people who can weld, who can actually do minor electrical work and are mechanically inclined.
The job will require some physical work, horses are like that.
The job will require self-starting, self- motivating and awareness that something isn't “right” . . . ya gotta notice stuff.
Please note that this job is based on about thirty hours a week that you choose when to work and is equivalent to a thirty thousand a year job in a great climate. We can and probably will increase the pay rate as your ability dictates, so if you can do the work, we will pay accordingly.
The people we have hired love it here and really desire to stay, but we need people we can trust to be able to handle the vast number of things that break on a ranch of this size/complexity when we are away.
If you have what takes and would like to live in paradise (well nine out of twelve months) please respond, this really is a great opportunity.
