We are seeking a professional, experienced, and organized management team for our small RV park in Bandon, OR. The park is mostly retired guests and about a mile from the ocean. We are looking for a couple with great communication and organizational skills as they will be the only staff on site. Applicants should be experienced and skilled in property management and facilities maintenance. Must be able to work with all types of people and maintain professional communication and problem-solving approaches.
The site is a small 21 spot RV Park located in Bandon OR just a few miles from the ocean. Our guests are a mix of monthly and short-term vacationers. Most are retired people enjoying the weather and activities of the southern OR coast.
The park manager must have excellent computer skills and be able to engage with reservation software and address questions from guests by email and phone in a timely manner. Shorter reservations will be made digitally with automated emails going out to guests with site information and rules. Regular communication with the site owner is expected.
Manager must welcome guests at the Park store and be the face of the park. This includes making sure guests check in and out as expected. Assisting in utility hook and guest issues. Ability to address questions about local amenities is a plus. Enforcing rules and maintaining a safe park and vacation neighborhood feel. Park store also functions as a small convenient store. Interfacing with store customers and maintaining inventory are important aspects of the store/ office.
Facilities management includes daily cleaning of the clubhouse and small shower house. Physical grounds maintenance including mowing and trimming, raking and maintaining gravel roads, leaf removal and litter pick up. Lower-level construction ability is a must for landscaping, fencing, drainage, wood construction. Must be able to complete basic utility service maintenance and inspections for the RV park and the few other buildings. There is regular outside contracts with maintenance of the well and sewer systems.
Housing and basic utilities (water, electric, garbage, cable, Wi-Fi) are included in compensation. Manager accommodations include an onsite 3+ bedroom house, garage, and fenced yard. Position also includes monetary compensation. We are looking for the right candidate where this could be a long-term position.
