Property Management Couple - Michigan City, IN

Hello and thank you for reviewing the position. We are seeking a full time Property Management couple for our manufactured housing community located in Northwest Indiana. The property was purchased last year and is undergoing a massive renovation with upgrades to the common areas, infrastructure, and addition of new manufactured homes. Our mission is to get rid of the “Trailer Park” stigma and provide safe, quality housing our customers love and meets their budget.The community isin desirable locations close to highways, restaurants, retail shoppingand Lake Michigan.

We are a small, family run business looking for long term employees we can develop a relationship with, trust and grow together. Full time salary compensation depending on experience plus significant upside in sales commissions.The position can also include onsite housing if that is desired.

Responsible for day to day oversight, operation, and maintenance of all facets of the property including:

• Monthly rent collections and deposits
• Enforcement of community rules and regulations
• Office management to keep up tenant files, leases, rules &regulations, tenant interface and interaction
• Leasing and Sales for New and Used Manufactured Homes
• Able to effectively communicate with owner, offsite property management team and outside vendors
• Monitor repairs and help manage third party vendors
• Necessary computer skills - Email, Microsoft Word and Excel, Dropbox
• Maintenance of common areas/Supervise Maintenance personal
• Bilingual speaker a bonus
