Located just over the Florida Georgia line, we are seeking a full time, year round management couple for our 124 site RV park in Jennings, FL to oversee the park's operations, marketing and guest relations.
OVERVIEW - RV MANAGER
As the Property Managers, you will have responsibility for all the operational aspects and profitability of the park. You will serve as the day-to-day point of contact for guests having a positive atmosphere and responsive service.
JOB DUTIES:
Responds in a timely fashion to guest and prospective guest inquiries
Works with the marketing team to increase reservations and occupancy
Receive and resolve guest complaints
Coordinates team member selection, training, and development while ensuring all team members comply with appropriate policies and operational procedures
Work with Operations Manager to quickly and effectively address issues which would adversely affect the operation of the resort or guest satisfaction
Enforce the Park's rules & regulations and standards
Monitor monthly expenses
Ensures compliance with federal state and local agencies that regulate fair housing laws and resort operations
Work with the Director of Marketing to draft and review all marketing efforts for the property
Oversees capital expenditure improvements with the guidance of the Operations Manager
OVERVIEW - MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Maintenance Manager is required to have basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, as well as a variety of landscaping maintenance. You will regularly mow lawns, weed, plant flowers, remove debris from property grounds, and overall ensure the park is well-maintained and look presentable. The Maintenance Manager also works to ensure our guests receive quality customer service.
JOB DUTIES
Empty trash and perform maintenance or repair duties using saws, blowers, mowers, drills or other hand tools.
Ensure lawns are manicured appropriately.
Inspect irrigation system regularly to ensure it is working properly; repair as needed.
Pick-up trash and debris from common areas and streets on a daily basis. Empty common area trash containers as needed.
Maintain resort vehicles and equipment.
Ensure the Park is presentable at all times and to KOA standards.
Maintain the Park's pool(s), testing chemical levels, adjusting appropriately.
Safely operate vehicles for the purpose of performing job duties.
Follow safety procedures while performing duties.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED
Previous groundskeeping experience in the resort/hospitality industry, preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of and broad experience in general maintenance techniques
Proficient in operating various hand tools, power equipment, and commercial machinery
Ability to provide legible written reports
Ability to work well independently as well as on a team
Intermediate computer proficiency including the ability to use email and the internet.
Previous RV park or mobile home park experience is preferred
Salary range is between $25,000-$35,000 each. We also offer:
