Property Caretakers (Grounds Maintenance & Housekeeping) - North GA

We are seeking a dedicated caretaker team to maintain our 130 acre North Georgia property.

Caretaker

JOB PURPOSE

The caretaker provides guest services and is responsible for ensuring the property meets guest ready standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides meticulous cleaning of assigned areas (Kitchen, Dining, Great Room, Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Media Room, Cabin) by following cleaning sheets to ensure areas are sanitized, dust free, free of trash, marks or stains and well organized
• Wash, Dry and properly store guest linens (Towels, Sheets, etc.)
• Stocks guest supplies (Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Shampoo, Conditioner)
• Follows guest greeting procedures
• Promptly responds to guest inquires (Troubleshooting internet, media room, etc)
• Serves as activities host (ATV, Archery, Skeet, Etc).

Grounds Caretaker                             

The Grounds Caretaker is responsible for the meticulous appearance and maintenance of the estate grounds and lodge.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Management and upkeep of grounds by mowing, edging, blowing, cutting trees, etc.
• Planting new trees, flowers and various plants seasonally as requested or required
• Pruning shrubs, trees and removing dead growth
• Grass fertilization and weed control
• Maintains trails
• Blow debris off patios and walkways as needed
• Overseeing the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property to ensure equipment is clean and in working order
• Ensuring equipment storage area is clean and in good order.
• Removal of garbage and debris from grounds
• Performs general handyman repairs (paint, electric, plumbing, etc.)
• Maintaining the property during emergency situations such as fire, flood, and weather related events
• Maintain detailed record-keeping log
• Perform various ad hoc projects
• Follows maintenance schedules to ensure efficiency of various systems and provides basic maintenance as needed (HVAC, Generator, etc)
• Follows and reports completion of property maintenance tasks
• Ensures lighting systems are functional
