Personal Assistant/Household and Property Manager, Couple - Garrison, NY

Working Artist is looking for a proactive, dynamic young live-in couple to manage house, studio, property and a special garden in Garrison, NY. This is a live in position with a separate one bedroom apartment on the property. The job consists of managing household and garden maintenance whilst being hands-on for all duties.

Outdoor skills must include excellent knowledge of gardens and plants plus outdoor equipment and systems including leaf blowing, snow removal and garden calendar. Household duties include typical knowledge of deep cleaning and indoor maintenance tasks and upkeep. Trouble shooting with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and security. One member will also function as a personal assistant and must be highly tech savvy. The couple’s responsibilities will be varied, including assisting with art studio tasks, which may include packing and shipping art work, securing art supplies. storage and inventory, managing the artists’ art and ceramic collection.

The position begins officially on August 1, with paid training days arranged in the weeks before. Remuneration is commensurate with experience, the live in role constitutes and additional benefit.
