MINNESOTA AIRSTREAM PARK EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
The Minnesota Airstream Park, a 125-member RV park in Clear Lake, Minn., is seeking seasonal employees starting April 1, 2022. In addition to the 70 acres of tree-lined landscape, the park also has an executive-nine golf course, pool/pool house, clubhouse, and site rentals.
The park is looking for employees to fill two major functions:
Park Management
Primary job responsibilities include:
- Daily operations and maintenance of the facilities and grounds
- Maintenance of pool and pool house
- Dispensing of 50-pound LP gas tanks
- Operation of powered turf-maintenance equipment
- Golf course maintenance
- Providing support to park members and collaborating with park volunteers
- Providing work direction to other paid staff and/or contractors
- Season opening and closing
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in the maintenance of a campground, RV resort, seasonal facility, park-like environment, or similar
- Training and experience in dispensing LP gas tanks, with ability to lift 50 pounds
- Experience with powered equipment for grounds and golf course maintenance
- A love of the outdoors
Schedule and compensation:
- 40-hour work week (April 1-October 31); schedule may include weekends
- Compensation commensurate with experience, including approved expenses
- Paid national holidays during the work season (or comp time for worked holidays)
- On-site accommodations (including gazebo and hook-ups) if individual has an approved RV
This role will report to the park president or a designated park member.
Campground Support
Primary job responsibilities include:
- Staffing the park office, including answering phones, responding to member and renter needs and requests, and tending to general office duties
- Overseeing rental administration, including site reservations
- Dispensing of 50-pound LP gas tanks
- Light grounds maintenance (e.g., mowing, weed spraying)
- General labor and housekeeping of Park facilities (clubhouse, pool house, etc.)
The ideal candidate will have:
- A willingness to do a variety of work, from behind-the-desk office duties to light facility maintenance
- Office, administrative, and computer skills
- A customer-service mindset and friendly, positive attitude as the “face of the Park” for members and guests
Schedule and compensation:
- 20- to 25-hour work week (May 1-Labor Day); schedule may include weekends
- Compensation provided at an hourly rate or as a combination of hourly rate and on-site accommodations
- Paid national holidays during the work season (or comp time for worked holidays)
- On-site accommodations (including hook-ups) if individual has an approved RV
