58-space Mobile Home Park looking for an onsite Community Host/Security for a 12-acre park along Highway 199 in southern Oregon. Preference is for a retired police officer/military/security guard to help maintain rule compliance and patrol nights, basically, be the “eyes and hears” of the community. Park needs stabilization and park rules need enforcement.
About the Area
The park is located about an hour drive from the coast and half an hour from Grants Pass. The area consists of a four-season climate in this “Wild West” town and area includes nearby old west towns, caverns, beautiful hiking trails, fishing, pristine lakes/rivers, and craggy mountain ranges.
About Us
We are a bit of a distressed park with no previous rule compliance from tenants. Looking for a person/couple to be the enforcer of rules and the “eyes and ears” of the community for the existing off-site park management team. Our team has been extremely busy trying to create a nice community and need some help to get there.
Essential Duties
Monitoring the premises and enforcing community rules and regulations
Actively communicate and work with Property Management
Report violations of park rules and regulations to Property Management
Respond promptly to any emergency
Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently
Keep written record of complaints/criticism of park facilities and report any safety or maintenance issues
Serve as a liaison between park residents and Property Management if needed
Be available to receive requests for evening emergency infrastructure repairs from tenants/text Management for evaluation and approval to make repairs
Requirements
Provide own RV – 1998 or newer model
A valid driver’s license
Must have reliable registered transportation
Ability to physically get out and make rounds throughout the park area a few times daily
Ability to get along well with people
Must be able to pass a background and drug test
Compensation
The use of homesite for your RV and all utilities at no charge for the duration of the term of service. Additional pay is negotiable depending on abilities as a handyman.
