Seasoned Couple wanted to live in and work in 1880s 'nearly' Ghost Town. She works in the Museum or Gift shop and Gallery, He helps maintain and refurbish old buildings.
We are looking for a couple to help maintain this old 1880s Silver Mining town. Work includes cabin maintenance and grounds maintenance, operation of a 5 space RV Park and 3 rental cabins. Also includes help in running the Pioneer Store Museum an authentic 1880s Mercantile, and operation of the Monte Carlo Gift shop and Gallery located in a restored saloon.
We offer an RV site with full hook ups, or we can furnish housing. We are in a remote location approximately 40 miles to the Wal-Mart and other shopping, however we are only 1.5 miles to the massive Gila National Forest. We entertain visitors from all over the US and from many foreign countries. We work steady but not hard, take frequent "engineering" breaks and especially, we take time to enjoy our wonderful location. This would be an excellent job for retirees who want to stay busy, but get out of the Rat Race.
A monthly stipend will depend on the workers ability to operate the town.
