Newport Pacific Capital, a recognized leader in manufactured housing, RV resort, and apartment community management is hiring an Onsite Community Manager for an all-age mobilehome community in Tucson, AZ.
Occupancy in employer-provided onsite housing and experience in MHC Management are required.
Under the supervision of a Regional Manager, the Onsite Community Manager is responsible for the uniform enforcement of rules and regulations while maintaining good Community relations and ensuring compliance with the law. Day-to-day tasks may include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure a clean, safe, and code-compliant environment.
- Uphold and value every resident’s right to peaceful enjoyment of their homesite and the community.
- Collect and deposit rent payments, and perform all related bookkeeping tasks using Rent Manager software.
- Process applications for tenancy and facilitate a seamless move-in/move-out process.
- Prepare tenancy contracts and corresponding documents and present them for signing.
- Perform routine inspections and take corrective action for noted deficiencies.
- Handle resident complaints with urgency and empathy.
- Recognize and address maintenance needs.
- Solicit third-party contractor bids and oversee third-party projects.
- Effectively respond to urgent/emergency situations that occur outside of normal business hours.
- Other unspecified reasonable tasks as assigned to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the community.
One member of the team must have a general knowledge of:
- Building and facility maintenance.
- Plumbing and electrical systems.
- Submeter utility systems and meter reading (gas, electric and water).
- Groundskeeping and landscape.
- Swimming pool maintenance.
- General carpentry.
Desired skills & experience:
- One year experience managing a mobilehome community.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of tenant laws.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Rent Manager experience a plus.
Compensation: $25-$27 per hour DOE with a benefits package after successful completion of an introductory period.
