WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
We are looking for a mature couple to operate a small Cafe in a rural area of western New Mexico.
The responsibilities consist of the total operation, including ordering, storing, preserving, preparing, and serving food. Also consists of maintaining the kitchen and dining room in compliance with NM Food/Facilities guidelines.
The Cafe is located in a newly restored 1880 Bank building in this one time Silver Mining boom town of Chloride, NM. The dining room is furnished in circa 1900 furniture, and the kitchen has all modern stainless steel appliances approved by NM EP. The customer base consists of the surrounding ranch families, recent retirees, and the tourists who visit the town's attractions.
We provide a residence adjacent to the Cafe, and we propose a split of net profit after all operating expenses are paid.
We would like this to be a permanent operation, with the operators becoming members of the community. We are approximately 40 miles away from the nearest shopping, and our area is very rural. We are located on the east slope of the Black Range Mountains, adjacent to the Gila National Forest. Interested parties are asked to respond with a resume detailing your food establishment experience, include your 'food handling certificates', and references.
