Skye Lodge Dunvegan is a luxury 5 bedroom/5-bathroom property located on the beautiful Isle of Skye on Loch Dunvegan. The property operates as guest house and offers a superior standard of accommodation, sleeping 4-10 and is available for individual accommodation and also for group exclusive use from April to November.

The property is situated in a stunning location in Dunvegan and benefits from the most spectacular and breath-taking views of beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The property will offer outstanding hospitality and a unique guest experience.

A Manager/Host is required to manage guest house operations for Skye Lodge Dunvegan from April – November annually. This exciting opportunity will combine general operational management of the property with catering and housekeeping. The main duties of the role include –

• Management of the booking system, arranging new bookings, managing arrivals and departures and all incoming and outgoing email communications
• Management of daily accounts – payments and invoicing, supplier management and administration
• Front of house management – meeting and greeting guest and managing and resolving queries
• Management of breakfast catering – cooking and serving breakfast to guests
• Housekeeping of property – servicing or rooms, managing laundry services and daily upkeep of the property
• Networking with local businesses to ensure an upto-date knowledge of local attractions for the purposes of guest recommendations

This role will suit an individual or couple with small hotel/guest house, hospitality and/or catering experience who seek an opportunity to use their expertise to play a part in the management of this exciting business – running a successful guest house operation with a strong brand. Knowledge of booking systems and online payment systems is an advantage.

You will understand the true essence of outstanding guest experience and will go above and beyond to exceed expectations to make our guests experience of visiting Skye Lodge Dunvegan truly unforgettable. You’ll have great attention to detail and understand the standards expected in a luxury property. You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills and be enthusiastic, friendly and approachable. You’ll also bring hard work, commitment, fresh ideas and an innovative approach to making Skye Lodge Dunvegan a unique destination. You will need a full UK driving licence.

You’ll be part of a welcoming management team, led by the property owner. You will also benefit from –
