Take a day trip to Badlands National Park or Custer State Park - or visit one of our great South Dakota towns such as Keystone, Deadwood and Sturgis.
$300 travel stipend available for full-time employees starting between August 1st and September 15th! Employee must work a minimum of 60 days and an average of 40 hours/week to qualify. Will be paid on first paycheck. Fall 2023 seasonal contracts only.
The Details
Position Type: Seasonal
Wage: $16.15/hour
Housing: RVs must be self-contained - interior working kitchen and bathroom (toilet/shower). Must be in overall good condition and newer than 1980. There are NO kitchen or bathroom facilities at the RV park. Can support 30 and 50 amps.Limited RV sites are available in Keystone, SD for $70/week. Two employees desired for each RV.

Responsibilities:
- Maintains buildings, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, and other related maintenance activities.
- Replaces air conditioner filters.
- Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
- Cleans snow and debris from sidewalk.
- Mows lawn, trims shrubbery, and cultivates flowers.
- Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Polishes metalwork kick plates.
- Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
- Washes windows, door panels, and sills
- Empties wastebaskets.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies.
- Replaces light bulbs.
- Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
- Sets up tables and chairs in dining room or EDR.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), one to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
