WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
This is a combination housekeeper/pet caretaker position. You will live on the property and provide work/services in exchange for living quarters. All electric, water, cable, and internet service is paid by property owner. This is not a 9 to 5 "job". A one bedroom, one bath, fully furnished, 2 yr old Santa Fe style, apartment is provided on site. The location is about 1 mile from the beautiful, historic, downtown Santa Fe Plaza. Beautiful sunrise/sunset/canyon views abound. There are 5 dogs that need daily care. The property owner travels extensively but lives on site when not traveling on business. Non-smoker, non-drinker, non-drug users only. No salary or pay of any kind is provided for this position. You must have your own transportation and health insurance. You need to be a self-starter and work well without supervision. You are certainly able to have outside employment as long as the needs of the homeowner and pets are met.
Pet care---Daily feeding, bathing, brushing, loving and typical cleanup. Dogs are Papillions (3 - very small, 5-9 lbs each) and Anatolians (2 - large, 100-120lbs each). Papillions are indoor only. Anatolians are indoor/outdoor, depending on the weather. A few of the five require daily medication. (Homeowner will take care of the indoor dogs when at home). Good communication with homeowner is key to the successful maintenance of the pet routine.
Housekeeping---Professional housekeeping experience preferred. This is a large, 2 bedroom, 4 bath, 3,000+ square foot, Santa Fe style, home. Occasional, seasonal fireplace use/cleanup. Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, all areas of the home as needed, usually at least once a week, depending on the needs of the homeowner. Changing of bed linens, bath towels, throw rugs for homeowners suite, and guest suite (as needed). A professional landscaping company maintains the outdoor areas. Indoor plants will need watering. Occasional hand watering of outdoor plants if the weather is particularly hot/dry. Minor repairs/touch up painting/clothes & table linen ironing, and general help with projects, decorating, occasional errands, as needed. Again, very good communication with the homeowner is key to the successful maintenance of the home. Beginning 03/01/2014.
