Long-Term Couple to Join Us in Maint/Mgmt of Small AirBNB's near LakeJames/LinvilleGorge and Progressing our Together Futures - Nebo, NC

Would you like to live here.... Stunning NC area near Lake James and Linville Gorge. Our property connects directly to Pisgah National Forest. We have family land here where we currently operate two AirBNB Cabins - known as Rock Bluff Acres. 

SEEKING a couple or a single individual who is honest, hardworking, transparent, and loves nature. Drug use or excessive drinking will not be tolerated. Looking for the right couple or person to come join us for a combined stipend (averaging $1000/month depending on bookings/cleanings, plus tips) and lodging (all utilities, wifi, laundry access, fully furnished apartment) in exchange for 5 days/week managing the rentals and property. This includes cleaning the cabins between guests, being available to answer questions and/or assist guest if they have needs, mowing, landscaping, trail maintenance on property, assist with construction projects, and taking the trash off. You must be comfortable and handy with small equipment such as lawn mowers, weed eaters, chainsaws, and animal friendly. Routine pet sitting is involved with our dogs/cats, as well as feeding/caring for our chickens/rabbits (we happily share our eggs), and our temporary miniature cow friends on the farm when we are gone on vacation and to have 2 days a week off as well. 

BENEFIT is that you have flexibility in making your own schedule basically, you get to live in a gorgeous area and explore all the hiking and lake activities you want! We are literally right at Linville Gorge, and only a few miles from Scenic Lake James. We are about 25-30 minutes from Morganton and Marion, centrally located between Hickory and Asheville NC, and only 45-60 mins south of the ski resort areas of Grandfather Mountain, Boone, Banner Elk, and Blowing Rock!

There’s room to grow with us for the right match. We would love to have a couple that wants to put down some roots and if we are all a great match, to stay long term and help us grow and in turn your part with us will grow too.  We have room for a garden we can all share and expand on other opportunities here that may help enrich both - our lives and yours!
