Live-in Property Management Couple - Caribbean

On behalf of the property owners, Ballast and Capel are seeking to recruit a ‘live-in property management couple’for a high end villa based on Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands.

The main responsibilities of the property managers will be to oversee the day to day management and operations of the villa and grounds and to be responsible for a luxury rental programme.  This role is ideal for a mature and energetic couple with at least 5 years’ experience in the operation of a similar facility or in the hospitality industry. Responsibilities will include:

• Attending to owners and guests
• Management and leadership of villa staff
• Management of villa facilities including scheduling of routine maintenance and           emergency repairs
• Provisioning and procurement of villa supplies
• Co-ordinating the booking and rental of the villa on behalf of the owners
• Book keeping

Successful applicants will demonstrate excellent guest service skills as well as previous experience in managing staff, ideally across different cultures.  Knowledge of food and beverage management as well as experience in QuickBooks is also required. Couples will also ideally be confident in water sports and boat handling. A divemaster or instructor qualification and ability to speak French is an advantage.
