The Unaccompanied Refugee Minor program within Catholic Charities has a rewarding opportunity for two Professional Foster Parents at our Rio Bend Facility in Richmond, TX.
The individuals that fill these position will:

act as a parent, advocate, life skills teacher, and role model for the client of URM foster care.

provide a structured nurturing environment that promotes and fosters a sense of belonging, mastery, independence and generosity while ensuring safety at all times through close supervision and high interaction with clients.

implement the program and agency policies and procedures, philosophy and model of care.
REQUIREMENTS:

high school diploma or higher;
-
a minimum of one year experience working with youth, refugee children preferred;

must be 21 years of age or older; and
-
fluency in English and Spanish.
