LIVE-IN DOMESTIC COUPLE, GREENWICH, CT

A Family in Greenwich, CT is seeking a full-time Live-In Domestic Couple to care for two school-aged children, provide light housekeeping and cooking, driving and around the house support, and serve as a warm, flexible, hands-on presence in the household. The role requires proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable personalities with the ability to flex with schedules and household rhythms. Russian-speaking, Eastern European or European candidates are strongly preferred due to cultural alignment. Not a very formal home however, there are formalities that the principals prefer are upheld. The successful candidates will be caring, capable, and comfortable living on-site in a private suite.

HOUSEKEEPER/NANNY/COOK RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide full-time care for two children
• Prepare simple, healthy meals for the children and principals
• Handle housekeeping (in between professional housekeeper’s visits)
• Support school pick-up/drop-off and after-school activities
• Engage children in meaningful, age-appropriate activities
• Provide a nurturing, motherly presence without enforcing discipline (family prefers a gentle approach)
• Travel with the family domestically and internationally (passport required)
• Flexibly adapt to changing schedules, with 1–2 days off per week

Qualifications (HOUSEKEEPER/COOK/NANNY)

• Ability to cook good basic meals (Chef level not required)
• Cleaning skills - handling housekeeping and laundry duties in between regular weekly housekeeper's visits
• Fluent in English; Russian speaking is a strong plus; Ukrainian, Russian, Uzbek, Polish, or Eastern European or European background preferred
• Proactive and hands-on with a “can-do” attitude
• Gentle, warm, and motherly—not overly strict or disciplinarian
• Flexible, emotionally intelligent, and able to read household dynamics
• Experienced with cooking simple family meals and tidying/organizing
• Comfortable living in and spending extended periods alone with the children
• Must have a driver’s license from the US
• Thick-skinned and composed

Domestic Couple Partner

• Driving the Principals and children (must have clean driving record)
• Basic handyman or property maintenance tasks
• Supporting logistics during family travel
• Grocery shopping or errands as needed
• General support around the house/property
• Assisting with light cooking and childcare
• US Passport for travel (when needed)
