Landscape Maintenance Position for Small Resort in Northern California

Seeking Landscaper for resort with a great reputation in beautiful Northern California.  Our resort is located in the Trinity Alps Wilderness Area, along the stunning Trinity River.  If you love the great outdoors, this is the place for you!  We are surrounded by gorgeous hiking areas, white-water rafting, nearby lakes, the Redwoods, and National Parks.  

This job requires a healthy person who works efficiently, is dependable, works well with others, and loves attention-to-detail. 

The goal and purpose of the landscape maintenance person is to maintain, and ever-improve, the visual and physical beauty of the resort. The overall appearance of the landscape is our guests’ very first impression of our Resorts and Café, and it is a welcoming beacon to those traveling Highway 299.  Season is April through October (dates are flexible).

Duties:

• Lawns
• Planter areas
• Fixed landscape
• Potted plants
• Trees
• Walkways
• Parking lots
• Rough areas
• Drainages
• Maintenance of tools and equipment
• Automated water systems
• Fertilizing schedule
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must keep a clean work area
• Must get along with staff and customers

All tasks performed should be done with our guests’ enjoyment and satisfaction in mind.  We strive to perform all tasks with cleanliness, professionalism, politeness, and pride of workmanship. 

Must have self-contained RV (50 amp or converter).  RV space includes trash, recycling, Wi-Fi, water, and sewage.  You are responsible for propane and small fee for utilities.

If couple is applying, other half can apply for back-up housekeeper or café position.
