SELF-STORAGE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENTS NEEDED

Job Description

We are looking for an individual or team to join our new storage facility as customer service agents in Nipomo!

• Customer Service Agents perform daily functions of running the facility in accordance with company standards. 
• Take payments via walk in, mail in, and over the phone
• Courtesy calls are made daily and collection calls as required by law
• Schedule appointments and offer tours of the property
• Understand the move-in truck program and our insurance policy
• Notes are taken manually and electronically inputted when speaking with a customer
• Daily lock checks and complete a daily walk through
• Cleaning units and submitting work orders
• Ensure all tenant information is updated and accurate
• Preparing lien files prior to the online auction
• After the auction, set up appointments with winning bidders and assist with collecting payments and vacating the unit properly
• Monitor and accurately control the cash drawer and log on a daily basis
• Merchandise counts monthly
• Banking done as needed
• Safety conscious and adhere to company policy when documenting an incident
• Golf cart checks and truck rental inspections are done as needed
• Landscaping and any other work done by outside vendors is closely monitored and documented
• Provide quality customer service and help with any other assigned tasks that may come up around the property

Qualifications

• Successful candidates come from a variety of customer-centered environments including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies.

• Background check required

• Drug test required

• Preferred experience in retail sales with an emphasis on selling

• Must be available to work on Mondays

Salary

$16 Starting Pay Per Hour + Bonus When Eligible
