WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our welcoming, fun-loving and hard-working team. Experience is not essential, although always helpful. Full training will be provided.
Kinloch Lodge is a country lodge in the stunning setting of Loch na Dal on Skye’s Sleat peninsula. We are lucky to have a global reputation, attracting visitors from near and far, each of whom wants to learn about our beautiful island and its unique experiences, our commitment to sustainability, our close relationships to local suppliers and the history and heritage of the Clan Macdonald.
We pride ourselves on our warmth and hospitality. We are a small hotel and so have the luxury of getting to know each and every one of our guests and this allows us to provide efficient and unpretentious service which we feel creates a nicer environment for our guests and ourselves. Our restaurant uses foraged, home grown and locally sourced produce as much as possible and our menu changes daily making it an exciting part of what makes us special.
Being on the Isle of Skye, we are ideally situated for people who enjoy nature, the great outdoors and who want to explore all that this island has to offer.
We pay above the living-wage with regular reviewals and a full share of all gratuities as well as year-round employment. Each employee is precious to us and we believe that to get the most out of people they have to be valued and treated with respect.
We are looking for a Front of House (incl. Restaurant, Bar/ Hosting) couple with a willingness to give a hand in other departments when needed. We believe in sharing the workload, which gives the position variety and flexibility.
Live-In roles are available as full-time only, however if accommodation is not required, we can be very flexible around part-time positions.
Successful applicants will take pride in their work and workplace, with enthusiasm and a willingness be part of what we call the ‘Kinloch family'. Unfortunately we are not apart of the working visa sponsorship programme and so can only accept couples who are already elligible to work in the UK.
