Innkeeping Couple Wanted in Historic St Augustine FL - St. Augustine, FL

We are a 16-room bed and breakfast located in the heart of downtown historic St. Augustine, right on the bayfront. Sixteen rooms equates to at least 32 guests on a daily basis during peak season (November thru May). We need an experienced couple/team who can cover all the bases and help our existing team knock it out of the park more than they already do!

Everyone thinks running a bed and breakfast is glamorous, especially on a waterfront location. Truth be told, it is a lot of work, more than you can imagine, so the winning couple for us has that background and knows the work involved.

A typical day would include assisting with the breakfast rush, answering phones and making reservations, upselling signature items and packages, catering to guest needs, checking guests in and out, collecting and recording payments, balancing cash sheets, addressing email inquiries, grocery runs, providing expert concierge service, cleaning rooms, helping with laundry, attending to standard maintenance and groundskeeping issues, preparation and cleanup for social hour, filling in for staff as needed, and more! Whichever one of the couple will be doing desk time (if not both of you) must alrady be proficient with the Microsoft platform as well as at least one reservation system.
