Innkeeper Management Couple - Qualicum Beach, BC Small 21 unit water front Motor Inn seeking highly motivated couple to manage all responsibilities of the inn. The innkeeper position requires a mutually supportive and energetic 2 person team living and working together on the premises 24/7. Maintenance experience and the ability to perform the maintenance tasks as well as a demonstrated understanding of the demands of small property operations is essential. Innkeepers must be able and willing to work long hours, especially during the summer months.

Responsibilities:

•  Sales, direct guest sales (front desk) , email and phone inquires , as well as bookings through agents and operators.
•  Reservation management
•  Marketing
•  Guest services , assisting guests with reservations and activities in the region.
•  Small business accounting, with professional accountant backup.
•  Housekeeping, with housekeeping staff depending on occupancy.
•  Laundry
•  Basic property repair & maintenance as necessary.
•  Landscaping & grounds maintenance

Compensation:

•  salary $2500.00
•  suite on premises ( including utilities, cable TV and internet )
