Innkeeper Couple - North Conway, NH

Starlight Lodge hotels immediately seeking enthusiastic and energetic AT LARGE/Floater Full fledged or Apprentice Innkeeper couple covering 3 properties in New England. Full or Part Time.

All hotels have permanent Innkeepers on site and are small boutiques (15, 17 and 26 rooms with rooms and RV pads, also 3 sites in Acadia/Bar Harbor region, Maine) in established/ up and coming resort destination markets (Cape Cod, North Conway, NH-White Mountains, and Mid-Coast Maine Rockport). Properties are OPEN and recovering from COVID closures. Some seasonality aspects but open all year.

Floater couple will be housed at one hotel location (TBD) in small studio quarters but will travel among the 3 hotels backing up existing Innkeepers for vacations, illness, breaks, etc. and/or working on special projects and/or helping out with regular hotel management and weekly assignments. Innkeepers in these boutqiue hotels handle ALL aspects of running the properties with some seasonal PT help at times, duties include: front desk, guest check ins, phones, housekeeping & turns, laundry, chores, landscape/snow/plow/lawns care, outdoor chores, administrative and computer work, maintenance and repairs, pool care, supply purchasing, guest satisfaction and interaction, marketing, maintaining systems, up-dating social media, book-keeping, bill pay, and all efforts necessary to run an independent family style hotel. You: references required, background check, experience preferred--dedication to hospitality industry necessary, appropriate transferrable skills & work history--hotels and cleaning a plus, computer literate, handyman/woman skill set. Can't be upset with dogs or snow. Legal Drivers. Medically fit for physical work. NO SMOKING, NO VAPING no exceptions. NO CATS. All hotels are dog friendly hotel environments. As company expands, Floater couple will have pathway for taking over on site role in new property or existing hotel when/if teams turn over.

Pay Package: small monthly couple's stipend (min. $2,000), annual bonus potential (Min $5,000) after 1 year, housing provided with utils. incl. as part of comp package.  "Special project" work is ALSO paid in addition to regular stipend (i.e. building projects etc.). Hours can be tailored to part time if desired. At this time, we do not provide other benefits. You will learn a lot, work hard, meet great teams, and get excellent experience. Probationary period of 1 month. We will train you upon arrival with pay. Small Travel allowance provided for move to New England (up to $500). Company has been in business since 2015, has been successful and continuously improving, & making a come back from COVID impact. Some exciting projects are pending for expansion. No food & bevereage here--we serve coffee and some light snacks occassionally--if cooking/restaurant is your thing, not here.
