The Opportunity

Unique opportunity for a couple to share the Mendocino Coast with guests from around the world.  Experience the charm of Joshua Grindle Inn Bed and Breakfast in Mendocino, CA.  Welcome guests to this historic village in a 10 bedroom Bed and Breakfast by providing excellent guest relations, beautifully prepared and served daily breakfast, and recommendations for daily trips and site seeing.

This is a live-in position which includes a furnished 1 bedroom bungalow, paid utilities and internet. The couple will be working with the owners and training on all aspects of running the inn. The busy season is May-October with a break in January. This can be seasonal or year round with breaks.

Job Description

You will be the face of the property and must have a high level of understanding of general customer service. You will be trained on the Bed and Breakfast/Inn daily operations and must demonstrate a high level of responsibility and attention to detail ensuring the guests have a memorable stay.

Duties include reservations, guest services, breakfast prep and service, housekeeping, laundry, facilities management and gardening. This position requires computer work including social media and online reputation management.
