Innkeeper Couple - Memphis, TN

An internationally acclaimed boutique bed and breakfast set in a historic Victorian home is seeking a long-term, experienced, live-in innkeeper couple to manage daily operations of our five-suite inn and event venue in Memphis, Tennessee. 

Responsibilities include:

• Guest relations (phone/email inquiries, reservations, check-ins/outs, house tours, travel guidance)
• Purchasing and maintaining pantry, housekeeping, and other supplies
• Cooking and serving a five-star breakfast
• Housekeeping 
• Minor repairs/maintenance and management of contractors when necessary
• Hiring and managing part-time staff for housekeeping and assistance with inn management and events.
• Finances (budgeting, bill payment, and record-keeping)
• Marketing to achieve maximum occupancy and event revenue.
• Collaborating with event planners and guests to contract and prepare house for events as needed.

Must be hands-on, multitasking, detail-oriented team player who provides an exceptional guest experience, communicates regularly with the ownership team, and possesses the time-management and follow-through skills to successfully run the business.

Requires:

• 2-5 years’ experience in B&B, hospitality and/or culinary operations
• Ability to perform moderate physical labor (walking, standing, bending, climbing stairs, reaching and lifting)
• Availability to work eves, weekends and holidays
• Proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, Word and/or similar (ThinkReservations a plus)
