Houseparents or Dorm Director - New Providence, IA

Wanted: Pastor or ministry minded house parents (couple) or dorm director (single for a dorm of 4-8 boys.  Quakerdale in New Providence, Iowa provides a ministry opportunity for someone or some couple to provide an alternative living environment for youth ages 10-17 who are not able to live in their own homes. 

The Promise Academy environment offers a free apartment and living expenses that are included as part of the hiring package.  The position is live-in and will have one week off per month. 

The Promise Academy offers these youth a Christian home environment, web-based school and a community of support.  The position requires role modeling, positive interpersonal skills, value and leadership characteristics as well as working with the school to develop hands-on experiences for these youth.  This s truly a ministry call to an individual or individuals wanting to make a difference in the lives of children and working within a community of committed individuals.
