Houseparent Couple/Family Teacher - Los Angeles, CA

You can make it possible for an adult with an intellectual or developmental disability to live a richer, more meaningful life. We are looking for a committed couple who can be a positive role model to residents. Responsibilities include all those items and responsibilities of a parent, including the provision of material needs, physical needs, emotional needs and disciplinary needs. Preparing healthy meals and family dinners are part of the program. Provide transportation for residents with a company assigned vehicle. Assist in completing all documentation necessary to fulfill all state and company requirements. Must have the skills to facilitate an ongoing relationship with residents and their loved ones.

Houseparent couple must have residential experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities or related field and have a minimum of a High School Diploma, Clean Driving Record, clear fingerprint report and negative TB test.

This position offers excellent benefits; Free rent and utilities, newly remodeled residence in duplex with outdoor space and garage, use of company van for transporting clients and $60,000 per couple.

Location: West LA. Full Time weekdays/ with emergency on-call back up responsibilities on weekends as required.
