Housekeeping Position at Strawhouse Resorts in Northern California

Seeking Housekeeper for resort with a great reputation in beautiful Northern California.  Strawhouse Resorts is located in the Trinity Alps Wilderness Area, along the stunning Trinity River.  If you love the great outdoors, this is the place for you!  We are surrounded by gorgeous hiking areas, white-water rafting, nearby lakes, the Redwoods, and National Parks.

This job requires a healthy person who works efficiently, is dependable, works well with others, is flexible, and loves attention-to-detail.  We strive to give our guests an exceptional experience, and housekeeping is an important part of that! 

If couple is applying, other half can apply for café position.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• clean cottages and follow checklist to ensure that it is cleaned properly and ready for next occupant
• maintain a clean and well-stocked supply caddy
• launder dirty linens
• report any maintenance problems and/or safety hazards to Facilities Manager
• ensure personal appearance is clean and professional
• make guests feel welcome and appreciated
• move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance
• ensure laundry facility is kept clean and well-stocked
• perform other reasonable job duties as requested  
• must be detail-oriented, a team player, and communicate well with others

Must have self-contained RV (50 amp or converter).  RV space includes trash, recycling, Wi-Fi, water, and sewage.  You are responsible for propane.

Work week depends on reservation check-ins and check-outs. 

Paid position starts at $16/hour + tips.
