House Parent Team - Thayer, MO

We are looking for A husband and wife house parent team to join our ministry. We are a Christ centered boarding school for struggling teenage girls ages 12-17. Our ideal candidate is a self-driven, punctual, conservative Christian couple looking to minister to the needs of a challenged generation.

Responsibilities

• Live on site 
• Mentor students
• Engage in planning indoor and outdoor activities
• Organizing of chore charts for students.  
• Organizing and executing calendar events. 
• Prepare and Cook meals weekly. 
• Supervising and maintaining cleanliness standard of Kitchen  
• Agree to exemplify a moral life as defined by a biblical Christian worldview.  
• Attend a local church regularly. 
• Attend Sunday morning service one a month at the Ranch with students.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.  
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.  
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
