House Parent Couple - Ponder, TX

Hope Inn Christ is looking for a house parent couple or an adult male house parent to live in our home full time.  This is a great opportunity to sow into the lives of young men.  We are an aftercare home for young men getting out of the juvenile system.  We are looking for a couple/individual that feels called by Christ to fill this position. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1)  insuring that the young men are loved and cared for  2) that they meet all parole requirements including 40 hours of productive activity each week and community service 3) providing meals 4) teaching proper hygiene 5) overseeing the cleaning or the home 6) overseeing yard maintenance 7) goal setting with each youth 8) providing educational opportunities 9) aiding in job searches for the youth 10) transporation to and from events, jobs, etc.  11) most importantly - being a Christian role model for these young men.

There will be volunteers to help out and an onsite couple to releave house parents on a regular basis.  There is a house parent apartment attached to the main home, that includes 2 large bedrooms, a large bathroom, refrigerator and microwave.  Your food, gas, supplies and all bills involved with Hope Inn Christ will be covered.
