In House Inn Keepers for a Charming Motel - Baie St-Paul, Quebec

You are looking for the ultimate experience in the most beautiful region of eastern Canada? You want to operate a 16 rooms charming Motel in the heart of the beautiful village of Baie St-Paul, Charlevoix region, Quebec, Canada? 

The village is along the majestic St-Lawrence river, just an hour drive from Quebec City, 2 national Parks and the famous whales watching expeditions. We are a summer- winter destination with the Ski Resort Le Massif de Charlevoix  just 15 minutes away.

We are seeking an energic, experienced and responsible couple to manage on our behalf the operations of our Motel, along our small establish cleaning crew.

The couple will be working as a team, sharing some multi-tasks working days : guest services and front desk operations, check in and check out, room cleaning, after cleaning supervision, payments from guest, channel manager management, light ground keeping and maintenance, etc. In one word the day to day operation of our Motel.

You will not be alone of course, the 2 owners will be on site on regular basis.

Our front desk is open on short hours meaning 8am-11am and 3pm-7pm. The couple will organize the working days to have all our rooms ready for guest check-in starting 4pm. 

In house means a 7/7 presence, having to attends the emergency problems before and after the front desk opening hours. 
 

The contrat will be minimum from May1st to October 31st 2024 (6months) but could be extended for the winter season for a successful couple and only after a 4-5 weeks holidays for the whole team to recharge the batteries. The winter season will end mid- April 2025, follow by a 2 weeks holiday for the whole team the get ready for the next summer season. The wheel turn this way for 21 years for us :-)

THE COUPLE must have IN HAND the legal right to work in Canada. 

One member of the couple must be fluent in French, it is not an option. 

Must be in good health and fit for some hard working days sometimes. 
 

We are offering a large fully equipped loft adjacent to our small front desk. (meaning that all the front desk hours don't require sitting behind the desk, you can be in your loft. We have cameras and a door bell that guest may use to have service. The large loft have a full kitchen, AC, open fireplace, large private terrasse and full wifi. All the charges related to the loft ara free for the duration of the contract.

We offer a gross salary of 4 000$CAD a month for the couple.
