Hotel Management Couple- Grand Marais, MN

Come live and work in a small resort town on the north shore of Lake Superior.  Are you an outdoor enthusiast who likes to walk out your front door after work and have limitless options to play?  This is a great opportunity for a versatile, flexible and highly motivated couple who has excellent cutomer service skills.  We are looking for a couple to join our team to manage 1 of our several hotels in town.  

This is a full-time, year-round, live on-site, salaried position.  Management of employees vary from 4-8 depending on the season.  Both members of the couple must be able to physically able to assist with all aspects of working a hotel.

One of the partners must be able to perform day to day maintenance and repairs on buildings inside and out.  Upkeep of the property will include landscaping, lawn moving, painting, snow removal, basic plumbing and electrical.  Basic remodeling skills are a plus as we are updating the hotels.  Familiarity with pools and boilers are a plus!  Daily interaction with guests so top-notched customer service is a must

The other half of the couple must have front desk and/or housekeeping experience in the hospitality industry.  Cleanliness and excellent customer service are our top priority.  Must be familiar with reservation systems and basic hotel management.  We can train the rest!

Living here in Grand Marais, MN is an outdoor enthusiast's paradise!  Skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding and snowmobiling in the winter and then hiking, biking, canoeing, fishing and more in the summer.  Our community is also a desination spot for artists, photographers and musicians so take your pick, there's plenty to enjoy.  This iswhat we in in our off time and this is the typle of viistor that stay at our hotels.
