Hostel/Pub Managers - Roan Mountain , TN

Currently accepting applications for a retired couple to fill the following positions. Accommodation is provided 2BR/1BA apartment on the grounds. Possibly shared. Utilities included. No salary is provided. 

• Pub/Restaurant Manager 
• Hostel Manager 

Come work and live in the Appalachian Mountains. Great hiking trails on the AT, swimming, falls, fishing and tons of recreational activities lay waiting in this hidden gem of a mountain town. Up to 40 hrs a week each. Positions require the following duties.

Pub/Restaurant Manager

 Manager is responsible for opening up the pub/restaurant and making sure the facility is clean and straightened up. Support bartender and cook as needed. All work stations and storage areas must be kept clean and organized  

Hostel Manager

Manager position includes but is not limited to cleaning the hostel kitchen, living, bunk, and bathroom areas. Turning over beds for new hikers/guests. Keeping laundry clean and linen closet organized. Checking in/welcoming guests. Providing knowledge on hostel procedure to new arrivals. Maintains grounds; weeding, mowing. 
 

Both positions must be filled by a personable, drug-free, efficient, fast learning employee who is interested in living along the Appalachian Trail in Tennessee. Days off together are included to be able to hike, fish, explore, and enjoy our many natural recreation areas nearby.
