Home Parent Married Couple - Denver area - Broomfield, CO

Oversee day to day activities of a group home for 8 male adults with functional intellectual disabilities by providing a safe, secure and caring environment for our residents.   This is a live-in position, 5 day work week and includes room/board/benefits/salary.  We operate in a Christian environment.  Incumbents are expected to be mature Christians with no children, no pets, be in good physical and emotional health with ego strength that subordinates personal, self-centered preferences and convenience to the greater good of the home and its residents.   Prefer common sense to solve practical problems and ability to deal with variety of behavioral issues.   Experience in field of dev disabilities preferred.  Undergraduate degree in sociology, human services, psychology, special education.  Mature personal characteristics such as patience, tolerance, strong sense of serving and caring required.  Should also possess strong written and verbal language skills and be competent in using associated computer systems.  QMAP training, CPR and first aid, valid CO driver's license required.  Also requires flexibility and common sense.
