WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a couple with a passion for guest services, camping, and finding ways to WOW our guests; and the energy to brainstorm new ideas in making this little "stop over" park into a place people come to gather and get a taste of the Nashville Scene outside the hustle and bustle of downtown Nashville. The Guest Services department is responsible for ensuring we deliver an amazing guest experience at every interaction. We’ve never met a stranger who didn’t quickly become a friend. We love to help our guests find what they need, even when they didn't know they were looking for it. And boy are we good at doing that. Guest Services team members are responsible for guest registration, front desk, escorting, firewood sales, store sales, and all guest-facing relations.
About the location:
This campground is open year-round, with our In Season being between April 1 and October 31. We are in Millersville, a very small town just 18 miles north of downtown Nashville (about a 25 minute drive during calm traffic conditions). The city of Goodlettsville is just 4 miles away, with tons of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. This park is a little rough around the edges, with a splash of charm. We are working on updating the sites as we are currently battling grass overgrowth, and have plans to upgrade pedestals from 30AMP to 50AMP and do some reconfiguring to enhance the guest camping experience. We are actively trying to implement special amenities to offer our guests -- complimentary breakfast, live music, movie night, holiday celebrations, shuttle service to downtown, etc... Two words we always keep in mind are "one more" -- Get the guest to stay "one more night", get them to buy "one more item"...
We aim to be the most hospitable company in the world, driven by our six core values:
We put our team first: We believe that the most important hospitality we extend is to our team members. The way we treat one another sets the tone for how we treat everyone
We make them say "WOW!": We are passionate and determined to "WOW!" our team members, our guests, our community, and our partners at every interaction.
We get better every day: We are always growing, learning, and ready to drive change. When we stumble, we admit fault and get back on our feet. We are in the constant pursuit of excellence in everything we undertake.
We express gratitude: We appreciate that our team members and guests have many options for where to spend their time. We are committed to proving to them that they've made the right decision.
We are steadfastly resourceful: We solve problems. We do more with less and will do whatever it takes to overcome a challenge.
We give back: We strive to leave the biggest positive impact on the communities where we operate. Their success is our success, and we want to see them w
