"BE HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS"! We need a quiet, drama free, healthy, mature couple. A couple who respects others privacy and space; has reliable transportation and valid drivers license for their own personal use. The part time help needed is in turn for rent/utilities in beautiful, custom home on small, casual horse farm.  

Assistance needed varies from day to day or month to month with the exception of 30 min (to an hour when filling waters too,) to care for our 7 horses and 2 ponies, and 14 chickens.  I managed to streamline the daily barn chores for ease of daily tasks to minimize time and physical work so it's very manageable, as long as you love the animals and don't mind being outside on a daily basis.

The help beyond the minimal time required in the barn, may include a variety of things including but not limited to, assistance in organizing and downsizing, general horse/barn chores, basic yard and gardening care, shoveling sidewalks, occasional help w/house vacuuming/sweeping/dusting (no bathrooms), general maintenance such as hanging curtain brackets, changing light bulbs, moving totes, some fencing or fence repair; and tending to pets and animals when we're not home. Less to do in the winter with out the demands of seasonal yard care. Experience w/animals a plus.  

Rent/trade arrangement includes utilities, large private room/bath; small kitchenette; large family room area with a large screen TV and DVD player; use of fitness room; limited laundry use; covered patio; back yard which is nearing it's landscape design completion. Offered monthly, but prefer long term (9-12 mo plus) if it is a good fit.  

Must haves: Animal Loving; Honest &Trustworthy; Clean Background Check & Good References; No smoking or drugs; Preferred no extra pets, as we have plenty to go around! WHERE WE ARE LOCATED IS: 45 minutes from Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park/Estes Park CO; 1 hour South of Cheyenne WY; 1 hour North of Denver Metro Area; within 20 minutes of state park/boating areas; 1.45 hours to Eldora Ski area or 1.50 hrs. to Loveland Ski area; a little over 2 hours to Snowy Range in Wyoming.  Easy highway access to anywhere you want to go; we are able to accommodate time away for reasonable travel/vacation time each year.  

WHO WE ARE:  We are a generally quiet, private, Christian faith based, older couple in our mid to late 50's, both work outside the home, which often lends to even more privacy to having the quiet of the home for our helpers! We are totally okay with and feel it necessary for at least one person to work an outside job or remotely to ease any financial needs our chosen couple has or may encounter.  We are flexible as long as we are aware of how it works out and we get the necessary help we are seeking.  

JUST FOR YOUR INFO, the rental value of the lower level which is a full walk out, affording the occupants approximately 2500 sq ft  of the 7000 sq ft home if one entity,  rents for $1,200.00 plus utilities, or by the room $800  individually.  I share this only so you have some understanding of the trade value.  However, we truly need the assistance & co-operative situation more than the income.  Hence, why we are offering this arrangement.  We generally need a minimum of 20-25 hours of assistance a week at a reasonable pace - which sometimes is less and sometimes maybe a little more with the yard & hillside in the summer - but it all seems to balance out.  We remain reasonable and try to be flexible and considerate of others needs and requirements.  

We are hopeful to find someone for a longer term arrangement, at least 9 months to a year and would like to have someone secured asap.
