Unique, salaried missionary opportunity in central Arkansas.
We are seeking dynamic couples to serve as houseparents to our residents. This is a great opportunity for direct, hands on ministry in the field of orphan care. The position might be a good fit for those who are considering a youth pastor position, those who are considering entering the mission field or social work field, families that wish to serve together, couples that wish to serve together, those who are particularly drawn to work with victims of abuse, and those who desire a “high impact, in the trenches” type of ministry.
Job requirements include…
-high school diploma
-21 years of age or older
-married couple with no more than 2 children
-hardworking and high energy
-1 year commitment
-ability to remain calm in emotionally charged situations
-ability to run a large family household
-good organization and communication skills
-willingness to live on site at Second Chance Ranch
Job details include…
--full time houseparents work 14 days on / 7 days off
-part time houseparents work 7 days on / 14 days off
-average full time salary starts at $42,000 per couple (insurance cost deducted from this amount)
-average part time salary is $90 per day, per person ($120 per day for a single person)
-in addition to salary stated above, housing, groceries, company vehicle, cable, internet included
-opportunity for birth children to attend accredited Christian private school with tuition discount

-directors live on site, so emergency assistance is always readily available
